Breakfast Testimonials

If you are lucky enough to visit County Cavan, you need to stay at the Keepers Arms in Bawnboy. This restaurant, pub, hotel, owned, managed and run by Brian and Sheila, is an excellent value. The food is wonderful. The pub is quiet and low key. And the staff is warm and friendly. Spend an evening at the pub and you’ll find yourself surrounded by the local Bawnboy folks, always relaxed and low key and friendly. And Brian and Sheila keep a very clean and tidy place. This a great respite from travel, or a day fishing the many lakes in the area. Keepers Arms is a keeper. Thanks Brian and Sheila for your dedication to the craft of hotel and restaurant excellence.

Second visit in less than 12 month. Sheila is a wonderfully welcoming lady. Food is great! Last time she made wonderful rhubarb crumble and when we arrived this time we had some homemade Guinness bread with our full traditional breakfast. We visited with the kids & the in laws who have been coming for many years. Lovely relaxing place to stay and the place is a good base to explore the surrounding areas

Lots of folks just want to stay in a Hotel… well to quote a certain Disney Heroine: “LET IT GO” … you won’t be disappointed.
